The project was awarded “Excellence” at the RLB Property Council NZ Property Industry Awards for 2020.
Collaboration between the project team was key to ensure the facility was fit for purpose for NCI while also future-proofing the structure for the owner and developer Goodman.
Innovation and automation factors also had to be taken into account for the design of the building. Robotic machinery, dedicated areas for dangerous goods and charging stations for electric forklifts are key features NCI required for their operations.
